Whilst studying for her A Levels, Amy worked with young people aged 11-17 in after school and school holiday activities. It was in this role that she developed an interest in managing challenging behaviour.
She then studied BSc Psychology at Swansea University, where she first encountered applied behaviour analysis. By looking into this further, she found that there was a demand for ABA therapists to work with children with autism in the area. She then became a self-employed ABA therapist (under the supervision of a BCBA), whilst studying MSc Behaviour Analysis and Therapy at the University of South Wales.
Since completing the Masters, she has moved to Pembrokeshire and started working with Skybound. She is currently building experience with a wider variety of individuals, and aims to undergo supervision to be a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst.
