Speech and Language Therapist
Gemma qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist from City University, London in July 2014. Gemma is a registered Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) practitioner and a full member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT). She has worked with children aged 3-18 with a range of health and communication needs including autism, learning disabilities, hearing impairments, phonological impairments, language impairments and social communication difficulties.
Gemma has experience implementing evidence based practices such as Lego Therapy, Communication Passports, Zones of Regulation, Talkabout (Alex Kelly) and Social Thinking (Michelle Garcia- Winner) and has completed postgraduate training in the SCERTS model. Gemma has previously worked in schools and community clinics in both NHS and independent settings before starting at Skybound Therapies.
