My family relocated to Pembrokeshire when I was a child, and since then it has always been home for me, although I really enjoyed living in Germany for 4 years where I spent a lot of my spare time training our dogs and running a Dog Training Club to have some fun and raise funds for the Hounds for Heroes charity. I also joined the local SUV Schutzhund Dog training club, which sparked an interest in protection dog training, and changed to teaching my dogs in German.
I then spent a lovely 3 years living in Belgium before returning home to Pembrokeshire a little while after the birth of my amazing daughter.
Nothing is more important to me than my family and I enjoy every moment I can spend with them. I also love horse riding and enjoy pampering both my horse and dog as much as possible.
I am an avid problem solver who loves to chase down solutions and help people with queries.
I have been part of the senior management team since 2015 and my experience lies within all things finance, from the day-to-day bookkeeping to financial management reporting, budget management, data analysis, financial auditing, payroll management and the development and improvement of our financial systems and processes.
I am the main finance contact for all staff, clients, local authorities, and other organisations. I will liaise with the awarding authority/organisation to set up and manage the funding allocated and I am the go-to person for any quotations, payments, contracts, and invoices.
Previously I have worked in both the public sector and the leisure industry.
