Are you a dedicated and experienced behaviour specialist ready for a new challenge?

We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Behaviour Specialist to join our team in Pembrokeshire. This is a newly created exciting role due to the expansion of our services, and it offers the chance to lead our domiciliary care provision, focusing on helping young people access their community.

You’ll be working directly with our teenagers and adults, using your expertise to create positive change. This is a hands-on role where you’ll not only work with the clients but also be providing essential training and support to our staff.

What you'll be doing:
  • Leading our domiciliary care provision for young people with disabilities.
  • Working directly with clients to build replacement skills and reduce behaviours that challenge
  • Conducting risk assessments and applying the principles of dignity of risk
  • Providing hands-on training and support to our care staff
  • Helping young people to remain with their families and within their communities

What we ask of you:
  • Level 5 or higher qualification in Positive Behavioural Support (PBS)
  • A strong commitment to skill building to help reduce behaviours that challenge
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments
  • Passion for training and empowering others
  • Enthusiasm and flexibility to work with a diverse range of clients

Salary:

£28,000 – £40,000 per year

  • Haverfordwest: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
