I’ve always been passionate about supporting children and young people, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found a career that allows me to make a positive difference every day. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, making the most of quality time together and maintaining my ever growing collection of garden and houseplants.

My journey began with a degree in counselling and a passion for helping people. This inspired me to continue my studies and complete a Master’s degree in psychology of education, giving me a deeper understanding of child development, learning, and behaviour. Throughout my career, I’ve worked across schools, counselling services, and educational settings, supporting children and young people with a range of needs. One of the things I value most about Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is its focus on understanding the purpose of behaviour. By recognising what a child is communicating through their behaviour, I can support them in ways that are positive, respectful, and meaningful.

One of the most rewarding parts of my role is seeing the small moments that make a big difference, whether that’s supporting a child to communicate, engage with the world around them, or simply enjoy new experiences. Every child is unique, and I love taking the time to understand what matters most to them and their family. Building trusting relationships and celebrating every achievement, no matter how small, is what makes this work so meaningful to me.
