At Skybound Therapies, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious Trainee Behaviour Specialist to join our growing team. This is an exciting development opportunity for someone who wants to progress and build a rewarding career in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).

You will work alongside experienced Behaviour Specialists and Behaviour Analysts, receiving structured training, supervision and mentoring while developing the skills needed to support complex behavioural needs.

As a Behaviour Specialist in Training, you will:

  • Support the implementation of Positive Behaviour Support plans
  • Assist with behavioural observations and data collection
  • Help develop meaningful goals and skill-building programmes
  • Work directly alongside children, young people and adults in their homes, schools and communities
  • Support staff teams to understand and implement behavioural strategies
  • Contribute to person-centred planning and outcome monitoring
  • Learn how to conduct functional assessments and behaviour support planning
  • Participate in specialist training, supervision and competency assessments

What we ask of you:
  • Experience supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities or behaviours that challenge
  • Passion for Positive Behaviour Support and improving quality of life
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Ability to travel across Pembrokeshire and surrounding areas

Pay: From £13.55 per hour
